On Eudaimonia[]

Upon my first arrival, I gripped my staff to walk
Through forest thick, up hilltop high, past mountains white as chalk
For the story it must travel from ear to mouth to ear
And in between the settlements the story's mine to bear

The first place where I landed was the oldest town of all
Its name was Eudaimonia within forests stretching tall
Beside a jewel-sparkling river, in midst the Midland plain
I lay my staff and listened - for here was a story to gain.

This is home[]

When we stroll through the meadows
Plucking onions from the grass
We can count ourselves lucky
We can feel it in our bones
This is home, this is home, this is home.

When we climb up the mountains
Watching all from above
We can count ourselves lucky
We can feel it in our bones
This is home, this is home, this is home.

When we trek through the woodlands
Finding chestnuts in the sticks
We can count ourselves lucky
We can feel it in our bones
This is home, this is home, this is home.

When we wade through the rivers
Splashing water to our knees
We can count ourselves lucky
We can feel it in our bones
This is home, this is home, this is home.

When we harvest the fields
Making food for all our friends
We can count ourselves lucky
We can feel it in our bones
This is home, this is home, this is home.

When we run along the roads
Taking news and goods to trade
We can count ourselves lucky
We can feel it in our bones
This is home, this is home, this is home.

And the healers and the crafters
Making music from their joy
When we find ourselves loving every day
We can count ourselves lucky
We can all with high hearts say:
This is home, this is home, this is home!

Ode to Vackra Alskade[]

Through a window I came,
From a place with no name,
In a forest I found some new friends.
As we sat by the fire,
Telling stories so dire,
We laughed so as not to cry.
...

Walking to Vackra Alskade,
T'was the best choice I made,
A new leaf was turned, into stone.

As I first saw her face,
One of beauty and grace,
Dear Freyja, enchanted I am.

To VA, may you reach the heights,
To Freyja, I'll be forever your Knight,
Long live, our town, our paradise.
